So many of us are Simply Surviving in unhealthy or achy bodies, on medications, in unsatisfying relationships, in jobs we’ve outgrown, eating unhealthy foods, living with aches and pains, and chronic disease.
We’re plowing through life, spinning on our own hamster wheel and feeling like we’ve lost our joy and sizzle.

I am Kathryn Chess your Nutritionist and Joyful Living Coach.
As a life-long learner, my vision has been to create a legacy of helping women to discover more joy, pleasure and great health. I took a leap of faith toward my goal and went back to school and earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Clayton College of Natural Health and My Health Coaching Certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Also, I trained in Sarah Gottfried’s Hormone Cure.
I’ve studied hundreds of dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve been so honored to have guided hundreds of women through the process of reconnecting with the brilliance and wisdom of their own bodies -- teaching them to know they deserve to live a life they love, and helping them find the joy and pleasure that makes life worth living.
In my programs you learn to listen to your body, define your own path to healing and wellness and discover what you really need with my love and support. I’m on a mission to help you discover that the rest of your life can be the best of your life, using powerful mindset tools and great healthy food that’s fast, fun and fabulous.
I am your gal to help you discover the life you dream of because I’ve been where you are. At 33, I was overwhelmed, widowed, fat, frumpy, a high-powered saleswoman and raising a highly active 7-year old son. Self-care and self-love were last on my list. I was always trying to be everything for everyone. I desperately wanted to feel good. I went from doctor to doctor and all that conventional medicine had to offer was a little thyroid pill. On the outside, all appeared well and inside I was craving the need to surrender, slow down and breathe.
It was a tug-of-war listening to my Negative Nelly narrator in my head constantly screaming, "You don’t deserve to live in a body and life you love. Asking for help is weak. You need to push through and be a Superwoman.” Then my heart would chime in and say, “Surrender, slow down, breathe and find enormous joy and pleasure.”
Unfortunately, my negative voice usually won. I spent decades battling my body, plowing through the latest fad diet, numbing out with work and crazy food binges. Diet culture, perfectionism and judgement around food and health always got in my way.
Everything changed when I discovered my body was sacred and being thin didn't matter. What really mattered was how I lovingly fed and listened to my body, moved her, spoke to her and lived from my heart instead of my head. Living this way, I discovered the life I love today. Seriously, if you were healthy and happy would what you weigh really matter?
I refused the quick fix of a Pill and learned to make my own transformation using healthy amazing food, pleasure and love. I discovered I could dream big, set my boundaries, ask for help and know my incredible life was possible.
Feeling fantastic comes from giving your body amazing food, moving in a way your body loves, using the right supplements for you and getting enough sleep. There’s one more component many of us don’t consider. It’s the way you think. Your mindset is what gives you the consistency to believe you deserve to give your body exactly what it needs.
